Fees for JC 1 & JC 2 students:

$440 / 4 lessons + one-time $120 material fee per year (non-refundable)

Terms and Conditions:

These are the terms and conditions for students attending group tuition classes at JCEconomics.com. Please read and understand these rules as they govern your relationship with the tuition centre.

  • Payment of Fees: Payment of fees is required prior to the start of each month. The student’s seat in the class will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment, and the Centre may refuse entry to students who have not paid their fees.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: All fees paid for classes are non-refundable.
  • Material Fee: A one-time fee of $120 for materials is required for new students who join the Centre at any time during the academic year. This fee covers the basic materials for all chapters and will be distributed according to the Centre’s schedule. The Centre will not distribute materials in advance. There will be no pro-rating of the material fee as the materials for the earlier lessons would have been given to your child.
  • Absence Policy: In the event of an absence, students are required to arrange to attend a different class within the same academic week. If a student cannot arrange a replacement class, they may request a recorded video lesson.
  • Illness Policy: The Centre reserves the right to prevent any student who is exhibiting or suspected to exhibit certain symptoms (fever, contagious disease, sneezing, or coughing profusely) from attending class.
  • Liability Policy: While the Centre will make every effort to ensure student safety, it accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while providing its services. The Centre is not responsible for any lost personal belongings in the premises.
  • Behavior Policy: The Centre reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any student who displays disruptive, aggressive, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate behavior that endangers other students or the teaching and learning environment. If such behavior continues, the Centre may dismiss the student from the Centre without refund.
  • Public Holiday Policy: Classes that fall on a public holiday will be rescheduled to another date and time, with notification to parents and students at least two weeks in advance.
  • Media Policy: The Centre may use any photos, sounds, and videos recorded inside the Centre in its advertising and media platforms.
  • Copyright Policy: All learning materials, including notes, worksheets, case studies, etc., are copyrighted and for personal use only. Students are not permitted to sell or redistribute them in any way. Voice and video recording during lessons are strictly prohibited, and legal action will be taken against students who violate this policy.
  • Changes in Terms and Conditions: The Centre reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and will notify parents/guardians of any changes.
  • Attendance Policy: As this is a group tuition, the fees will be payable regardless of attendance. There will not be any refund of tuition fees if students miss lessons.
  • Financial Assistance: Students with financial difficulties can email [email protected] with more information. JCEconomics.com can consider a waiver of tuition fees for students under the MOE’s financial assistance scheme. Terms and conditions apply.
